Following our closed beta phase, we have taken your feedback into account and made a series of significant updates and fixes across various aspects of the game, from creature behavior to user interface improvements. We are continuing to refine these features and will soon share detailed videos showcasing the updated functionalities. Additionally, we are planning to expand our testing team and will be opening applications for this role shortly. Game Update/Bug Fix
- Respawn Mechanics: Fixed a bug where buffs did not clear when creatures respawned outside their range.
- Debuff Visuals: Resolved an issue where visual effects from debuffs sometimes remained after creatures died.
- Item Comparisons: Implemented a comparison system for equipped and inventory-displayed items.
- Creature Behavior: Prevented creatures from entering underwater areas.
- Combat Mechanics: Fixed a rare issue where AIM would lock up when using bows and crossbows due to creature knockback effects.
- Animation Adjustments: Updated tool usage animations for female characters and improved horse and caravan riding animations.
- Interface Enhancements: Added tooltips for unnamed icons in the interface. Connected the content menu to the TAB key. Reduced CTRL usage across the interface by introducing automatic action mode transition.
- Messaging System: Past messages from characters receiving a silencing penalty are now removed from world and common channels.
- Combat Animations: Made improvements to combat animations.
- Teleportation Issue: Addressed the rare occurrence of characters teleporting underground.
Gameplay Update
- Hunter Knife: Added to the game, usable like other tools for gathering from animals and defined for production on workbenches.
- Skill Books: Adjusted to be specific for each skill and weapon type, reducing diversity and ensuring three skill books per weapon type.
- Damage and Defense Balancing: Corrected an issue with the damage coefficient that allowed high damage outputs even when the attack score did not greatly exceed the defense score.
- Lifeskill and Combat Integration: Fixed an issue where lifeskill animations would break if combat animations were active.
- Skill Bar Functionality: Adjusted the area strike in the skill bar’s top tab to prevent unintended expansions.
- Friend List Updates: Fixed the instant visibility of invitation results in the friend list.
- Visual Fixes: Corrected visual errors related to secondary characters using bows and crossbows, and riding animations.
- Ship Mechanics: Adjusted ship synchronization and movement mechanics, fixed issues with ship foaming effects in high waves, and improved depth control when launching ships.
System and Quality of Life Improvements
- Emoji Animations: Fixed an issue where moving emoji animations would freeze the character during a fall.
- World Map Enhancements: Adjusted symbol scaling settings, separated click actions from camera dragging, and made teleportation stones usable only after discovery.
- Storage System: Added an Auto Fill button to storages.
- Fishing Mechanics: Introduced an automatic fish-catching system, integrating effects from potions, pets, profession bonuses, and fishing rod bonuses. Adjusted the fishing mechanism to work in water at least 1 meter deep.
- Login and Security: Fixed login timeout bugs.
Environmental and Discovery Adjustments
- Terrain Corrections: Refined the visibility and accessibility on the World Map, making it exploratory.
- Transport and Navigation: Adjusted transport points for sea and land caravanning. Improved visibility of hunting animals on the World Map based on the Hunting profession level.
New Features and Balancing
- Equipment and Crafting Systems: Activated equipment feature and set bonus systems. Defined set bonuses obtainable from mini-bosses in creature zones dependent on profession level at crafting stations.
- Game Aesthetics: Adjusted the in-game general color palette and terrain textures. Implemented TAA Anti-Aliasing effect and added grass hiding to base parts in the build system.
- Skill and Visual Effects: Some skills and VFX for the Weapon straight shots have been modified and improved.
- Animation and Swimming Mechanics: Fixed various animation errors and disabled the use of tools like axes, picks, and scythes while swimming.
